S. Himmat Singh, fondly known as Baba Ji, established a humble eatery (dhaba) in 1962, bringing the authentic flavors of Punjab to his dishes. Over the years, his culinary legacy was passed down to Mr. Kanwaljit Singh and his wife, who infused creativity into the menu with unique recipes like Fish Fry and Spinach Corn Roll, which quickly became customer favorites. The overwhelming love and growing demand from patrons led to the opening of the first Baba’s Restaurant in Model Town in 1991. The signature homemade magic masalas soon made Baba’s Butter Chicken a globally celebrated dish.
